DMCA and Copyright Policy

Submit a copyright notice

Send a written notice to admin@personax.dev with the subject “DMCA Notice” and include:

• Identify the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed or, for multiple works at one online location, provide a representative list.
• Identify the allegedly infringing PersonaX material with enough information for us to locate it, including each applicable URL or account location.
• Provide your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• State that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• State that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
• Provide a physical or electronic signature.

Review and verification

PersonaX reviews each notice for the information required by the DMCA and may check URLs, account information, claimed ownership or authority, signatures, internal consistency, and apparent fraud or misrepresentation. We may request clarification or supporting information and may forward the notice to the affected user. A facially complete notice does not prove infringement, and PersonaX does not adjudicate ownership or disputed defenses. When a notice is legally sufficient, PersonaX may act expeditiously to remove or disable access and will take reasonable steps to notify the affected user.

Counter-notices

A user who believes material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may email a counter-notice to the address above with the subject “DMCA Counter-Notice” and include:

• Identify the material removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal.
• State under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
• Provide your name, mailing address, and telephone number.
• Consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address, or if outside the United States, a federal district where PersonaX may be found, and accept service of process from the original claimant or the claimant’s agent.
• Provide a physical or electronic signature.

PersonaX may send a valid counter-notice to the original claimant. PersonaX may restore the material between 10 and 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice unless the claimant notifies us that it filed a court action seeking to restrain the disputed use.

Repeat infringement

PersonaX maintains a policy of terminating repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances and may restrict accounts or remove content while a claim is reviewed. Anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that removal was a mistake or misidentification, may be liable under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
